I live in Weston, CT with my wife and two dogs. My wife and I fulfilled our most important job by raising incredible kids who are now resilient adults out of the nest and doing great things. Career wise I was a blue-collar guy growing up but then moved into the white-collar world, with a dozen years on Wall Street followed by 25 years as a healthcare and tech entrepreneur. After exiting my last start up I planned to take some time off but instead ended up having to navigate some of life’s curveballs. One way I responded was to look less for a job and more of a passion, one that would provide mission and purpose. While I considered different options I became incredibly concerned about our country’s direction. I believe there is nothing casual about the generational theft that is happening to my kids and (hopefully) future grandkids and believe finding a way to affect a massive course correction is not only the most important issue facing our citizens but the most important issue facing our species. So, I created a grass roots political organization focused on doing exactly that and am going to tilt at windmills for the next two years trying to make it happen.

​​In forming Citizen Legislation, my weapon of choice is a belief in the common humanity of an overwhelming majority of our citizens. I believe this common humanity has always been there but it is being hidden by gerrymandered Congressional districts that give disproportionate power narrow bands of extremist voters on the edges of our electorate; the cancerous impact of money in politics that result in immoral spending on a scale that threatens the fiscal solvency of the wealthiest nation on earth; an enrage industrial complex that promotes conflict and ka chings the ratings cash register as they do it; and cowards who engage in right versus left politics rather than right versus wrong leadership as our kids' financial and environmental futures are flushed away. I am supremely confident that I am not alone in these beliefs and that we can join together to create the most powerful force in the history of American politics and wield it to fulfill our most solemn responsibility - to pass to our children and grandchildren a country better than the one that was passed to us.
